Antique Russian Imperial Porcelain Salt dish The Mikhail Pavlovich Service

  

Russian porcelain dish from the Service of Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich made by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, period of Nicholas I. Decorated with a finely painted cartouches enclosing fruits and flowers on alternating blue & magenta grounds. The reverse without blue underglaze mark only smal number of painter. Lightly to moderate rubbed gold.

All painting in very good condition. There is a very old restoration. Overall very good antique condition of significantly rare example of the dish from the service that almost impossible to find even in in any Russian museums.
