Russian silver sugar bowl in a Pan Slavic style. Baluster shape body with two handles and removable lid. Beautifully decorated with flowers, foliage and scrolls.

Body stands on a stepped round base, (base rim is slightly out of round). Please see and inspect all photos. Bowl marked to the underside: initials? S" for well-known Moscow assayer "?????? - coat of arms city of Moscow.

Marks are clear and readable. Made in Moscow, Russia, ca. 1874 For information please see: "Postnikova" 1995 Edition page 205 # 2112 for assayer page 215 # 2467 for maker Approx. Weight: 6.72 troy oz. Few minor dents/dings, base rim is slightly out of round, please see and inspect all photos.
