MAGNIFICENT ANTIQUE RUSSIAN VERY LARGE SILVER BASKET. "PAN SLAVIC" STYLE, OUTSTANDING QUALITY. (30.2 cm) long, 8 5/8 in. (21.9 cm) wide and 8 3/4 in. (22.2 cm) high with handle up.

Weight is about 30+ troy oz. Very heavy for the size! Made of heavy gauge of silver. Excellent original condition with minimum amount of normal wear. Original gilding inside is in excellent antique condition, shows minor expected wear.

Marked under the base and on the handle with Russian silver hallmarks for St Petertsburg 1881, 84 silver standard. Maker's mark is not clear.
